The best way to defeat this boss is to attack the Dragon when it's in a physical form. It doesn't really challenge you to find items later but it might have you walking back and forth at times.įirst boss fight. This is the standard for the rest of the game. You will engage in a boss fight with the mist monster. Just collect your treasures and head to the top right. There are 4 total Chocobo Forests and at least 1 carrot in each of them. That item is used to summon the Big Chocobo so that you may store any of your extra items with him (you won't need this right now). If you do go to the Chocobo Forest, there is an item there. You can do that by walking or taking the Chocobo hidden in the forest to the southwest. Now you must make your way to the cave in the west.
